About the job
We are looking for a skilled Blockchain Developer to join the Quadblock Engineering team and work on our blockchain and DeFi infrastructure. This role will focus on building and scaling our DEX aggregation infrastructure, smart contracts, blockchain integrations, and transaction execution systems.
You will work across on-chain and off-chain systems to integrate multiple decentralized exchanges and liquidity sources, build efficient routing and execution mechanisms, and develop reliable blockchain infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and business teams to deliver secure, scalable, and production-ready solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain blockchain applications, infrastructure, and smart contracts.
- Build and improve DEX aggregation systems, including quote generation, liquidity discovery, routing, path optimization, and swap execution.
- Integrate multiple DEXs, AMMs, liquidity pools, aggregators, and DeFi protocols across supported blockchain networks.
- Develop efficient routing strategies for multi-hop and multi-DEX swaps while considering liquidity, fees, price impact, slippage, and gas costs.
- Build transaction construction, simulation, gas estimation, and execution systems for reliable on-chain transactions.
- Develop and maintain Solidity smart contracts for swap execution, protocol integrations, and other on-chain functionality.
- Build high-performance blockchain services and infrastructure using Rust and/or Go.
- Work with blockchain nodes, RPC providers, WebSockets, indexing systems, and on-chain data.
- Integrate wallets, token standards, smart contract interfaces, APIs, and external blockchain infrastructure.
- Optimize system performance, transaction execution, gas consumption, routing efficiency, and reliability.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve blockchain, smart contract, RPC, and production issues.
- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested, and well-documented code.
- Participate in architecture discussions, technical planning, code reviews, and sprint ceremonies.
- Research and evaluate new blockchain networks, DEX protocols, liquidity mechanisms, and emerging DeFi technologies.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of relevant professional experience in blockchain/Web3 development, with hands-on experience in smart contracts, DeFi protocols, DEXs, or blockchain infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of blockchain fundamentals, including transactions, blocks, wallets, public/private keys, gas, RPCs, smart contracts, and on-chain state.
- Strong understanding of EVM-compatible blockchains and Ethereum-based infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience developing Solidity smart contracts, including testing, deployment, debugging, and gas optimization.
- Strong programming skills in Rust and/or Go, with the ability to build reliable backend and blockchain infrastructure.
- Good understanding of DEX and AMM architectures, liquidity pools, concentrated liquidity, swap mechanics, multi-hop swaps, routing, fees, price impact, and slippage.
- Experience integrating DEXs, DeFi protocols, liquidity sources, smart contracts, wallets, RPCs, and blockchain APIs.
- Understanding of DEX aggregation and routing, including quote generation, liquidity evaluation, optimal path selection, and transaction execution.
- Experience with blockchain development tools such as Foundry, Hardhat, ethers.js, viem, or equivalent tooling.
- Understanding of ERC-20, ERC-4626, and other relevant token standards.
- Knowledge of smart contract security, common vulnerabilities, access control, reentrancy, transaction validation, and secure protocol integration.
- Experience with transaction simulation, calldata encoding/decoding, ABI interaction, gas estimation, and on-chain debugging.
- Familiarity with blockchain indexing, event logs, transaction lifecycle, and real-time blockchain data.
- Strong understanding of backend architecture, APIs, databases, caching, concurrency, and scalable production systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to debug complex on-chain and off-chain issues.
- Experience with Git, testing, CI/CD, code reviews, and modern software development practices.
